Quantifiers

confused

Quantifiers are expressions such as many, much, some, few, all, a lot of , a great amount of,  etc. They occur in front of nouns. In order to use the proper quantifier, it is necessary to consider whether the following noun is a COUNTABLE or UNCOUNTABLE noun. Based on what kind of noun they can precede, quantifiers can be divided into three groups:

  •  quantifiers preceding COUNTABLE nouns
  •  quantifiers preceding UNCOUNTABLE nouns
  •  quantifiers preceding COUNTABLE and UNCOUNTA BLE nouns.
